Donald Harris graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Economics and earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance and investments from The George Washington University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. From 1991 to 1997, he served as Vice President and portfolio manager at NationsBank Private Investments, managing assets for both individuals and non-profit organizations.  Prior to joining NationsBank, he was a portfolio manager with the Chevy Chase Trust Group.

         Mr. Harris is a member of the CFA Institute and the Washington Society of Investment Analysts.  He has been active in fund-raising for Landon School as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Christmas in April.

         George de Garmo graduated from Princeton University in 1960 with a degree in History and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.  Working first in commercial banking, Mr. de Garmo entered the investment field in 1966 and was responsible for the significant growth of total managed assets at Foxhall Investment Management, where he attained the position of company president.  In 1984, he joined the investment counsel firm of Davidge & Company and served as Senior Manager until 1990, when he and Michael Kelleher founded de Garmo & Kelleher.  He works with a range of individual and family clients and has particular experience in financial matters affecting taxable accounts, generational transfers of wealth, and other issues of estate planning and charitable giving.

         Mr. de Garmo has served on various finance and investment committees and was treasurer of the Visiting Nurse Association of Washington, as well as a member of the board of Medlantic Healthcare Group. He has been active in fund-raising for his family’s churches and schools and is currently a member of the vestry of his church in Middleburg, Virginia.  He is also active in historic preservation and land conservation in the Virginia Piedmont.

         Michael Kelleher is a graduate of Holy Cross College, has an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford, and has received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  He began his investment career in 1970 at American Security & Trust and served for 12 years in positions of portfolio manager, security analyst, and Director of Research. He was a Senior Manager and Research Director of Davidge & Company from 1982 to 1990. Along with George de Garmo, he founded de Garmo & Kelleher in 1990.

         He is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the Washington Society of Investment Analysts and is a past President of the organization.  He has been a member of the adjunct faculty for the M.B.A. program at American University.

         Mr. Kelleher works with a range of individual clients, families, and non-profit organizations.  He has been involved in school and church boards and related community activities.

         Ellen Fishwick Martin received a B.A. in History from Wellesley College and holds a degree from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.  She served as Vice President and Senior Investment Officer of the Chevy Chase Trust Group from 1989 to 1991. Prior to joining Chevy Chase, she was a Vice President and Trust Investment Officer of the Riggs National Bank, where for sixteen years she managed individual and charitable portfolios.  She continues to work with individual clients and non-profit organizations.

         Mrs. Martin is a member of the CFA Institute and the Washington Society of Investment Analysts, of which she is a past president. She has been active on the board of The Madeira School, serving as its chairman from 1989 to 1992. She also serves on the investment committee of her church diocese and is also a past board and finance committee member of the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation.

         Michael Bird is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he earned degrees in both Marketing and Logistics from the business school. Mr. Bird also earned an M.B.A., with a concentration in Finance, from Mercer University.

         He began his career in 1993 with Merrill Lynch in St. Louis, moving on to Bank of America in Atlanta. As a vice president with Bank of America, Mr. Bird managed portfolios of both individuals and institutions. In 2005 he joined BB&T Asset Management and then the de Garmo & Kelleher division in 2008. Mr. Bird is a member of the Washington Association of Money Managers.
